TAAI President Mrs Jyoti Mayal Chaired the APJC meeting held by IATA

The 59th virtual meeting of the Airline Passenger Joint Council of IATA (APJC) was lead by Mrs Jyoti Mayal – President TAAI. She has unanimously selected to Chair the meeting, and this was for the first time in India that any Agency Representative Chaired the APJC meeting held by IATA. The virtual meet was attended by the airline representatives and agency representatives of TAAI & TAFI.

TAAI was represented by Vice President – Jay Bhatia, Hon. Secretary General – Bettaiah Lokesh, Hon. Treasurer – Shreeram Patel and UFTAA President & Past President – TAAI, Mr Sunil kumar Rumalla.

The agency representatives took up all the important points of concern and have made recommendations through APJC to PAPGJC / PSG which shall be taken up at PAconf also. 

TAAI issued a statement stating, "It is a moment of great honour and pride for all of us at TAAI, the premier, nodal and largest trade association in India since 1951.
