Ramco Systems and IDBLUE Announce RFID Partnership Agreement

July 26, 2010 - Mumbai, India - Ramco Systems, the Global Aviation Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) and Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) software provider, announced a global partnership with IDBLUETM. Ramco Systems will provide end to end RFID solutions within the aerospace sector for the purpose of MRO, aircraft and component, data identification, tracking, enhanced line maintenance and performance based utilization. The agreement was struck at the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA), the world's most iconic global aviation event.

 

“This partnership will allow us to provide next generation asset visibility solutions to the aerospace sector by coupling IDBLUE’s RFID technology and deployment expertise with Ramco’s suite of leading software products and their global reach,” said Jeff Brown, Vice-President of Services at IDBLUE. 

 

“Working with our Canadian branch in Ottawa, we identified IDBLUE as an innovative company in Atlantic Canada with RFID solutions that add significant value in business benefits to Ramco’s global clients. Today, we are pleased to announce a partnership agreement between IDBlue and Ramco Systems, providing existing and new customers of our M&E / MRO Aviation Software Solutions, extended asset management solutions”, said Jim Fitzgerald – President, Ramco’s Global Aviation Solutions.
