Malaysia Airlines Welcomes 2026 with ‘Time for New Chapters’ Campaign
Inviting Travellers to Plan Meaningful Journeys Ahead
Malaysia Airlines ushers in 2026 with Time for New Chapters, a thoughtfully curated campaign inspired by new beginnings and the journeys that shape them. As the new year unfolds, the airline encourages travellers to plan purposeful travel across the year—whether for leisure holidays, family reunions, milestone celebrations, or essential business trips.
The campaign is open for bookings from 7 to 20 January 2026, with travel valid until 30 November 2026, offering attractive all-in return fares starting from INR 17,199. Enrich members enjoy priority access to selected fares on 6 January 2026, along with an additional 5% discount on promotional fares. Travellers who are not yet Enrich members are encouraged to sign up during the campaign period to unlock the same exclusive benefits and added value.
Time for New Chapters unlocks a world of travel opportunities across Malaysia Airlines’ expanding network. Travellers can enjoy seamless connections to global destinations such as Sydney, Seoul, and Shanghai, alongside popular regional getaways including Cebu, Siem Reap, and Krabi via sister airline Firefly from KLIA Terminal 1. The experience is further enhanced by the airline’s Bonus Side Trip (BST) programme, which allows travellers to explore Malaysia during stopovers—discovering destinations like Penang’s cultural heritage or the pristine beaches of Langkawi—positioning Kuala Lumpur as a welcoming gateway under Visit Malaysia 2026.
Onboard, Malaysia Airlines continues to deliver a refined and distinctly Malaysian experience. Passengers travelling on the airline’s next-generation A330neo aircraft to destinations including Tokyo, Bali, Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland can enjoy enhanced comfort with ergonomically designed seats, larger high-definition in-flight entertainment screens, and a more seamless travel experience. Selected aircraft also offer MHstudio in-flight entertainment and complimentary Wi-Fi across all cabin classes via MHconnect, keeping travellers connected throughout their journey.
The inflight experience is further elevated with the 2026 Best of Malaysia and Best of Asia menus, bringing authentic regional flavours to the skies. From 1 January, Best of Malaysia highlights local heritage with rotating, state-inspired dishes, beginning with Selangor specialties such as Daging Semur and Ayam Semur served with fragrant Nasi Minyak on selected flights from Sabah and Sarawak to Kuala Lumpur.
As part of the year-round Best of Asia offering, South Korean-inspired dishes will be featured from January to February, followed by Thai-inspired selections from March to April. Signature dishes include Spicy Gogi Jorim, Dak Bokkeum Tang, Pad Phet Chicken, and Massaman Curry, available on selected regional routes, including flights between Kuala Lumpur, Sabah, Sarawak, and Seoul (ICN), across Business Suite, Business Class, and Economy Class.
Celebrate the beginning of 2026 with Malaysia Airlines and plan journeys filled with adventure, relaxation, and discovery. Book your next chapter via the Malaysia Airlines website or mobile app, and experience the warmth and elegance of Malaysian Hospitality throughout your journey.
