Pride Hotels & Resorts Marks a Homecoming with the Launch of Pride Plaza Indore

Pride Hotels & Resorts has strengthened its presence in Madhya Pradesh with the launch of Pride Plaza Indore, an upscale 141-room hotel located on AB Bypass near Rau. The opening marks the group’s fifth hotel in Madhya Pradesh, second property in Indore and 40th operational hotel since the launch of its first owned hotel in Pune in 1987.

The milestone holds special significance for Mr. S.P. Jain, Chairman and Managing Director, Pride Hotels Limited, who hails from Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district. Pride Plaza Indore is also the eighth hotel owned by the group. “It gives us immense pleasure to launch our own hotel in the heart of India. This property holds a special place for us, and to have it in Madhya Pradesh—the state I call home—makes this moment truly personal,” said Jain.

Designed to cater to business travellers, weddings, MICE and social celebrations, Pride Plaza Indore features 141 well-appointed rooms, a swimming pool, six versatile event venues and expansive banquet and lawn spaces. Its three dining outlets include a poolside lounge and bar, complemented by speciality dining, personalised services and butler service.

The property brings alive Pride Hotels’ signature ‘5 Senses’ service philosophy through a warm Indian welcome, distinctive fragrances, locally inspired art and design, regional flavours of Madhya Pradesh and music influenced by the Indore Gharana. With Pride Premier Indore and the newly opened Pride Plaza, Indore becomes the only city in Madhya Pradesh to host two Pride properties. The group also operates hotels in Bhopal, Ujjain and Jabalpur.

“Pride Plaza Indore reflects our philosophy of combining local hospitality with the sights, sounds, flavours and traditions of Madhya Pradesh. Under the leadership of General Manager Mr. Prantik Sengupta, we are confident that the hotel will establish new hospitality benchmarks in the region,” said Mr. Atul Upadhyay, Executive Director, Pride Hotels Limited.

Pride Hotels currently operates 40 hotels offering 3,204 rooms, with another 33 confirmed properties and 2,367 rooms in the pipeline. Upon completion, its portfolio will exceed 70 hotels and 5,500 rooms across India, supported by more than 50 food and beverage outlets and approximately 3.5 lakh sq. ft. of banquet space.
