Nautika Makes Mumbai Debut at TTF 2026, Strengthening Travel Trade Presence in Western India
Nautika, the Andaman Islands' leading ferry and tourism experience operator, made its first-ever exhibition appearance in Mumbai at TTF (Travel & Tourism Fair) Mumbai 2026, concluding a three-day run at the Jio World Convention Centre, Bandra Kurla Complex. Over the three days, the Nautika team engaged with more than 300 travel professionals and initiated 175+ new partnership discussions, marking an important step in expanding the brand's engagement with Western India's travel trade. For a brand that has carried 25 lakh passengers across the Andaman archipelago in under four years, the Mumbai debut also provided an opportunity to take the Andaman travel story directly to one of India's key leisure and corporate source markets.
A Warm Welcome in India's Biggest Travel Market
Over the three days, the Nautika stand saw a steady flow of travel agents, tour operators, MICE planners, and corporate travel buyers from Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Surat, and Ahmedabad, many of whom were engaging with an Andaman ferry brand face-to-face for the first time. Conversations ranged from group and honeymoon movements for the upcoming Diwali and winter season to sailing schedules, class-wise inventory and last-mile coordination on the islands.
What stood out for the team was the depth of curiosity. Agents who have sold the Andamans for years arrived with detailed, practical questions about onboard experience, punctuality and premium seating, reflecting the growing interest in more seamless, experience-led travel across the destination.
Anoop Kumar, Partner & Director at Nautika, says:
"Mumbai has always sent us travellers, but this was the first time we came to Mumbai to meet the trade on their home ground. The welcome we received was genuinely warm; people stopped by not just to collect a brochure but to sit down, ask questions and talk about how we can work together this season. For a brand built on the islands, that kind of reception in a market this size is both humbling and energising. We came to introduce ourselves; we are leaving with relationships."
What Nautika Showcased
At TTF Mumbai 2026, Nautika presented its full inter-island proposition across the Port Blair – Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) – Neil (Shaheed Dweep) circuit, including:
- The newest fleet in the archipelago, led by the region's largest premium catamaran, a 360-seater cruising at 26 knots
- A tiered onboard experience across Business Class, Royal Class and Luxury Class, built around priority boarding, private zones, attendant service and onboard food and beverage
- Trade-friendly support, including dedicated agent desks, group handling and coordination for honeymoon, family, MICE and incentive movements
The brand also shared its growth story with the visiting trade: 25 lakh passengers carried, an average year-on-year growth of approximately 75% since inception, and a partner ecosystem of over 2,000 travel agents across India that has expanded 10–20% annually over the past five years.
Riding a Destination on the Rise
Nautika's Mumbai debut comes at a moment of sharp momentum for the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Domestic tourist arrivals to the islands rose from 3.23 lakh in 2023 to 7.10 lakh in 2024, while foreign arrivals grew from 9,025 to 11,497 over the same period. With the trade now finalising inventory and partnerships ahead of Diwali, the wedding season and the winter holidays, TTF Mumbai's timing placed the destination in front of buyers as travel planning for the upcoming season gathers pace.
Organised by Fairfest Media Limited, TTF is India's oldest and largest travel trade show network, running since 1989, with the Mumbai edition offering direct access to Maharashtra and Western India, among the country's key markets for leisure, corporate and MICE travel.
Building on a Growing Trade Network
TTF Mumbai adds to Nautika's consistent presence across India's leading B2B travel platforms, which has been central to how the brand has built its 2,000-plus agent network. Many of those partnerships began as introductions at trade shows and have since grown into long-standing relationships that channel business directly to island-based operators, homestays, transport providers and guides.
"Every strong trade partnership helps support a wider network of livelihoods back home on the islands—from accommodation and transport to local experiences and guiding services," adds Anoop Kumar. "Mumbai has opened up a whole new set of those conversations for us. We will be back and next time, we hope to come as a familiar name rather than a new one."
Nautika is currently expanding its trade engagement across domestic markets and international geographies, including Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka. Agents and operators interested in partnering with Nautika can reach the team directly.
