North Malabar Travel Bazaar 2025 to be Held at Kannur International Airport

The third edition of the North Malabar Travel Bazaar (NMTB) is scheduled for November 15-16, 2025, at Kannur International Airport, making it the first travel mart in India to be hosted at an airport. This landmark event aims to boost tourism in the culturally rich and scenic North Malabar region.

Jointly organized by the North Malabar Chamber of Commerce, North Malabar Tourism Organization (NOMTO), Tourism Entrepreneurs of North Malabar, Kannur International Airport, and Metro Mart, the event will bring together over 100 tourism-related businesses and 500 tour operators from across India for impactful B2B meetings.

The bazaar will spotlight North Malabar’s diverse offerings—spiritual, health and wellness, cruise, MICE, and wedding tourism. Seminars, workshops, and cultural programs will add depth to the event, promoting regional heritage and facilitating knowledge exchange. A special workshop will also be held to guide local entrepreneurs in effectively marketing their tourism products.

C. Dinesh Kumar, MD of Kannur International Airport, emphasized the airport’s commitment to strengthening air connectivity and tourist infrastructure. T.K. Ramesh Kumar, President of NOMTO, highlighted the bazaar’s role in offering firsthand exposure of the region to travel professionals. CEO Siji Nair noted that the platform is inclusive—welcoming all, from homestays to high-end resorts.

On the second day, the event opens to the public, offering special travel packages. Entry is free with prior registration.
