TAAI's MP & CG Chapter Marks 20 Glorious Years, Charts Roadmap for Tourism Growth

The Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Chapter of the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) celebrated its 20th Foundation Day with grandeur at Golden Yug Resort & Spa, Indore. The evening brought together leading voices from tourism, aviation, and government, reaffirming the region’s rising prominence on India’s travel map.

Founded in 1951, TAAI is India’s oldest and largest travel trade association and will soon celebrate its platinum jubilee in 2026.

Voices of Leadership & Guest Participation
Chapter Chairman Mr. Hemendra Singh Jadon led the celebrations, joined by dignitaries including Mr. A. Gopal, Assistant Director, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, Regional Manager, MP Tourism, along with senior representatives of Air India, IndiGo, Thai Airways, and Disney Cruise India. Members and partners from across the region added weight to the milestone gathering.

Call for Better Air Connectivity
Mr. Jadon underlined the urgent need for enhanced flight connectivity from Indore to meet business and tourism demand. Proposed direct flights include Amritsar, Cochin, Bagdogra, Srinagar, Dubai, and Bangkok. TAAI will soon submit formal proposals to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and airlines.

Tourism & Film Potential of the Region
Highlighting Indore’s cultural heritage, natural beauty, and spiritual sites, Mr. Jadon noted its growing attraction for filmmakers, further boosting tourism prospects. He urged stakeholders to prepare well for Simhasth 2028 in Ujjain, ensuring world-class facilities for pilgrims and visitors.

Reinforcing TAAI’s commitment to ethics, Mr. Jadon advised travellers to book only through authorized agents to avoid fraud and ensure safe, professional services.

Celebration & Cultural Showcase
Hon. Secretary Mr. Amit Navlani and Hon. Treasurer Mrs. C. K. Raj reflected on the chapter’s journey, pledging continued service and progress. The evening concluded with vibrant music, traditional dance, and a networking dinner, creating a perfect blend of business and culture.
