RDTM 2025 Wraps Up Successfully, Reinforcing Rajasthan as India’s MICE Capital

The 5th edition of the Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM) concluded successfully, drawing resounding participation from the travel trade and hospitality fraternity. This year’s edition placed a strong emphasis on MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events), reaffirming Rajasthan’s growing stature as a premier destination for both domestic and international events.
The 5th Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM) commenced with a grand inaugural ceremony at the iconic City Palace, Jaipur, on 12th September, setting the perfect tone for the event. The following days, 13th and 14th September, witnessed vibrant business networking sessions and exhibitions at the Birla Auditorium, where Rajasthan’s tourism stakeholders engaged with buyers from across the country. Adding to the experience, a special networking dinner on 13th September at the Ashoka Club brought together dignitaries, hoteliers, tour operators, and industry leaders in an informal setting, fostering stronger connections within the travel fraternity.
The Mart witnessed the participation of over 450 Rajasthan stakeholders and properties, 250+ hosted buyers from across India, and more than 1,000 non-hosted buyers, making it one of the most vibrant B2B tourism platforms in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Hon. Deputy Chief Minister & Tourism Minister Smt. Diya Kumari said, “Rajasthan is blessed with heritage, culture, and hospitality that are unmatched in the world. Through RDTM, we are not only strengthening domestic tourism but also showcasing Rajasthan’s immense potential as a global MICE hub. From heritage venues like City Palace to modern convention facilities, the state is fully equipped to host world-class events.”
Adding to this, Mr. Kuldeep Singh Chandela, President, Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR) remarked, “The overwhelming response to RDTM 2025 reflects the confidence of the travel fraternity in Rajasthan. Our focus on MICE is timely, as the state is witnessing growing interest in destination weddings, corporate events, and international conventions. With continued government support, enhanced air connectivity, and diverse offerings across regions, Rajasthan is ready to welcome millions of visitors for both leisure and business.”
The successful conclusion of RDTM 2025 has further cemented Rajasthan’s position as not just a heritage tourism leader but also as an emerging powerhouse in MICE and experiential travel.
